Buddha and dhamma
Buddha is a title given to Siddhartha Gautama, an ancient Indian prince who lived over 2,500 years ago and is widely considered the founder of Buddhism. He is also known as the "Enlightened One" or the "Awakened One." Buddha taught the path to enlightenment, a state of perfect wisdom and inner peace, through the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path.
Dhamma (or Dharma) is a concept in Buddhism that refers to the teachings of the Buddha. It includes both his words and his actions, and encompasses the entirety of his teachings on how to live a moral and fulfilling life. The dhamma also includes the natural laws of the universe and the underlying principles of existence. In Buddhism, following the dhamma is considered the path to liberation from suffering and achieving enlightenment.
