Boudh Poornima, also known as Vesak or Buddha Purnima, is a Buddhist festival that celebrates the birth, enlightenment, and death of Gautama Buddha. It is observed on the full moon day in the month of Vaisakha (usually in May).

The festival is celebrated by Buddhists all over the world, and it is a public holiday in many countries with significant Buddhist populations. The day is marked with various rituals, including prayer, meditation, and offerings to the Buddha. Many temples and shrines hold special ceremonies and processions on this day.

The significance of Boudh Poornima lies in the fact that it marks the three important events in the life of Buddha: his birth, his enlightenment, and his death. It is a day to reflect on the teachings of the Buddha and to renew one's commitment to the path of compassion and wisdom.
